Resolution Test Pattern

• Printer: 8.5 x 11 in at 300 dpi = 2550 x 3300 px.
• Useable image area: 6.5 x 9 in = 1950 x 2700 px.
• Image target size: 2656 x 1992 px
• 4 x 3 identical segments (664 px square)
• Each with 16 subunits (166 px square)
• Each subunit contains an "ermine tail" 50 px wide, 116 px high with 3 black or colored stripes (and 2 white) on a white background
• At the wide end each stripe is 10 px high; 1 px high at the narrow end. Thus coming out to 1000 to 100 line pairs per image.
• Checkpoints: At these X values each stripe is Y px high.
