Map of hold-down locations. They're all different.

Wed 07-06: Sawzall vs pipe, pipe lost (shortened and capped).

Fri 07-08: The pipe that was cut, after being shortened and capped

Wed 07-06: Hold-down #6,7: New 4x6 post with new HD6A and old HD2A. The old one is missing its washer and the nut was never tightened. Several are like that.

Wed 07-06: Hold-down #6,7: New 4x6 post. Note armor breaks where it was forced into a slot in the post. And wiring spaghetti tangle.

Wed 07-06: Another electrical armor break at #16, don't know how that one happened.

Fri 07-08: Hold-down #1,2,3; note the original HD2A in position #1

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #2,3 with a HD6A sitting at position #3

Fri 07-08: Hold-down #2,3,4 before drilling

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #6,7. #7 was drilled. HD2A at #6; the stud nut has no washer and has never been tightened.

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #5, drilled, with original HD2A

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #9, drilled, with original HD2A. For demo, 24 inch rod in hole (needs 28 inch below wood) and HD6A.

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #13, hit re-bar and knocked the hole out of line. Need to re-drill.

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #15, drilled minus the new stud. (Alice is blocking unfriendly Sun.)

Sun 07-10: Hold-down #16 (outside house). Note 13 inch joist and plates; needs 15 inch in concrete.

Thu 07-14: Hold-downs #6, 7, 11 finished.

Thu 07-14: Hold-down #10, drilling finished, needs assembly. Door is at right. There's a $100 drill bit concealed by the two extra 2x4's.

Thu 07-14: Hold-down #12 finished. $35 worth of epoxy went down the other hole and vanished, under the wider extra post.

Thu 07-14: Hold-down #1 finished.

Thu 07-14: Wiring in the 1-4 area (living room). They used Romex because there's not enough room any more for the flex armor.

Sun 07-17: Hold-down #11. So how do you tighten the nut on the HD2A?

Mon 07-25: Upstairs #1 HD2A in master bedroom.

Mon 07-25: Upstairs #1 HD2A from below (living room).
